My friend is running a poll at his DT fansite (www.crookedstep.com) and I'm helping out by posting a thread about it at all of the major Dream Theater forums. Basically, it's going to be pitting two songs against each other every two days until only one song remains the winner. Some of the polls may seem a bit one sided, but that's because it's semi random.
this is the Nightmare Division round 1
The final score for last poll was:
The Great Debate -- 79 votes
Particle E Motion -- 8 votes
New matchup is About To Crash (Reprise) vs Vacant
Voting is here: http://www.crookedstep.com
The Theater Division bracket is here http://www.crookedstep.com/theaterdivision.gif
The Dream Division bracket is here http://www.crookedstep.com/dreamdivision.gif

For those people who has some questions about the poll, or just don't like it and think we're douchebags, check this out http://www.crookedstep.com/farsq.html

My friend is running a poll at his Supreme Court fansite (www.reallypointless.com), to determine THE ULTIMATE CASE and I'm helping out by posting a thread about it at all of the major Supreme Court forums. Basically, it's going to be pitting two cases against each other every two days until only one case remains the winner. Some of the polls may seem a bit one sided, but that's because it's semi random.
The final score for last poll was:
New York Times v. Sullivan -- 79 votes
College Savings Bank v. Florida Prepaid -- 8 votes
this is the Substantive Due Process round 1
New matchup is Lochner v. New York vs Roe v. Wade, and a special prize for anyone who can spot the difference...

Hey dude, it's your right to conduct any kind of poll, but please stop posting here every two days. I think we all know now that there is something happening at www.crookedstep.com and if we are interested in the results or in voting, we will check the site. You have already advertised the same thing about 100 times and I don't think you will bring more people in by posting every 2 days, as you can see it seems to annoy people more than anything else.
Programmatically,
Thierry

'About to Crash - Reprise', all the way!
And on a more serious note, please, stop posting crap - I don't want to click the 'new posts' button when I sign in to be harassed by a barrage of 'OMFG GOTO WWW.CROOKEDSTEP.COM 4 DA POLL!!!ONONEOEN11!'.
Thanks.
