Pretty much because I'm bored, I was wondering what you were all doing lately with your keyboards..?
I'm practicing piano score reading (I am so slow..) with music from The Sims :)

- Working through heaps of exercises one by one until I get them right (from teacher and from Keyboard Wizardry and some others people have suggested)
- learning lots of "mary had a little lamb" type songs to keep my teacher happy
- Writing a few songs
- struggling through learning "Wait for Sleep" which is my current purpose in life

-Finishing up Brahms' 2nd rhapsody
-Learning an average of 3-4 charts a week for the big band (jazz) at school
-Joined a latin jazz group and performed with them last Saturday (I sightread through half the charts because I just got called about it a day or two before)
-Playing with a heavy metal group comprised of a few guys I've played in other bands with before
-Writing solo fusion material
Other than that, just the usual work - to improve chops, soloing ideas, chord voicings, improvisation...all that good stuff.

Since I've been on vacation for the past 2 weeks, I haven't really done so much lately per se, but over the past month, roughly in order:
*Working on technique, chromatic scales, left hand dexterity and independence
*Learning synthesis and programming sounds on my Ion and Mo
*Playing live at church, working on chord voicings, band interaction, and improving my independence so I can play two parts simultaneously more easily
*Watching the keyboard players in miscellaneous bands while on vacation
*Transcribing keyboard parts while on vacation, with no reference instrument around (pitch memory rocks!)
*Watching JR and Michael Pinnella on Gigantour
*Watching ELP - Beyond the Beginning

Well I’ve quited my dayjob as sales manager for a famous tennis & sporting goods brand (since im not working for them anymore I will not say their name), that gave me lots of free time so I’ve decided to look for a new future ex-girlfriend, and with the rest of my free time getting reacquainted with Mr. Hannon & Mr. Pischna & Mr. Czerny, remembering Johann Strauss, Op 410 (voices of spring), that thing was easier 4 years ago, and trying to get trough the first & second page of Rachmaninoff’s Op.3, No.2 Unfortunately my other 2 jobs (gigging) have been kind of slow, its hard to compete with kids that are 10% as good as you but they charge a quarter of your fee. That really SUKS.
Ps.
Oh and also look for a new dayjob

Normally, between 10 and 2 am, because I can't play too much, I program, program, program and program sounds, setups, sometimes I record somethings...
