I've been looking for a program that can help me with learning music theory. Since I had quite a big break in playing the piano for a few years ago when I quit (Yeah, and I totally regret it) and started playing again seriously just recently, I've forgotten most of it, unfortunately. So what program is the "best"/most popular? If there is any good ones out there that is.
Also, I want to get better at sight reading, but I really don't know how to. Is there any excersizes I could do, or anything I can do/keep in mind while I play?

A great porgram I know of, that is somehow related to your question, is EarMaster Pro, http://www.earmaster.com/ . Though it doesn't exactly teach raw music theory, it has helped me a lot.

Well, that program seems to be kind of useful, but it's not really my hearing I'm trying to improve at the moment. Is there anyone else who knows about any useful programs?

It does help you quite a lot with rythm-reading skills. There are quite a few games that let you select the right notename when it shows you the note.
One of these is MusicReading.
You might be better off using Google instead the next time. ;)

I dont know any programs, but I just wanna say that you're not the only one who quit piano and retried again. I quit piano twice before finally playing seriously. I was doing more than I should, that's what made me quit twice. Now I'm completely hooked.
