Hey everyone!

I created a public GMail account, keywizzesATgmail.com (password: JRr*cks, fill in the blank), with the idea for us to share single tracks or samples from our favourite and hard-to-find artists, by e-mailing them to the account! :D

GMail's categorization system of "labels" comes in perfectly to categorize the songs that will hopefully pile up in the account. I just created Prog, Jazz and Classical for now, but feel free to add other labels.

To get you all motivated, I posted a track that is one of the most fun and energetic compositions and performances I have ever heard.

Hiromi (Uehara) - The Tom & Jerry Show

is a 6-minute piano solo piece by one of my most recent favourite artists, Hiromi. She plays crazy stuff that could generally be classified as jazz, but has awesome ingredients that could better be found in fusion, funk, and prog (she does some wicked synthing on some of her songs). I'm sure you'll love it ^_^




Note: Please don't go abusing the account. I am strictly opposed to this idea becoming an ordinary copyright-infringing file-sharing business, and merely wanted to have a chance for people to share HARD-TO-FIND SINGLE TRACKS or samples with other keyboard wizard fans. If it gets out hand, we'll close the account altogether, but let's give it a chance.

Nice piano piece ! A friend of mine had once Hiromi's album playing in his car, it was with a synth sound, sounded great but a little too jazz for me. I've uploaded a song by Gerard, i hope it's rare enough, and that you'll like it.

Am I missing something? I try to long on GMail using the address "keywizzes@gmail.com" as the user name and "JRrocks" as the password but I can't connect. Or maybe there is something I don't know about public accounts...

If you did what you said you did, you should have gotten in; I just checked and it works fine. You can log in either with "keywizzes" or "keywizzes@gmail.com" for the username, and the password is what you said it was - did you get the capitals right for "JR"?

Also, if it's not so much a log-in info problem as a GMail problem, try using the URL https://www.gmail.com (mind the https instead of regular http) to log in; that makes a difference sometimes. If it still doesn't work, let me know again.

Why did'nt I think of that? Why dont we register a new account (or use the same one) to "show off" too? I mean, not everybody can upload files to the web, but everybody can send them on an e-mail..

That's fine too as far as I'm concerned; there's so much space in there that it's begging to be filled up with anything. Go and post your show-offs there too! :)

I thought Jens' "Quli" is rare enough. It's an awesome piece of music IMO. Hope you enjoy it.
I have a few "rare" CDs and I think that , before posting any more songs, that I'd list them. If anyone is interested in a song or two from any of these Cds bump this thread, and I'll gladly upload them.
