Are they weighted or semi-weighted? I play one at school for jazz band, and I really like the feel of the keys...they have some weight to them and I figured since it's a stage piano that it would be fully weighted, but they don't feel quite fully weighted. Are those keys semi weighted or is it just that Roland's weighted keys aren't as hard to press down?
I'm interested because I was looking at a Roland MIDI controller that has 76 semi-weighted keys, and I was wondering if that would mean they would feel like the RD 150.

It's a Fatar keyboard, TP-23 i guess. The keys are weighted but not too much so they responds faster than an acoustic piano but obviously they don't give the same feeling and expressivity. Feels too cheap in my opinion but RD-150 can be still a good choice for a digital piano.

Alright, so they're just low quality weighted keys?

I just like the feel of them because it's similar to weighted, but you can still do palm slides without killing your hand and you can sort of "fly" over the keys like on a non-weighted board, but without that feeling of sorta "slipping" all the time.
