Frank,
When your at NAMM come back with some info on this for me, it seems really cool.
Speaking of which I will not be attending. My friend that was going to get us the passes has some finacial issues and I figured I could save a little money as well seeing the holidays were all cash (no charge) for me.
Pete is going to be there with Joey Tafolla, so keep an eye for him. He said he was going to see Gambale and Holdsworth but will not make the Vital Information show because he's leaving early to go back to Vegas.

Wow, that's definitely a must have in my book.
As long as it doesn't cost some obscenely republican amount, I'd definitely pick one of those up. The most intruging part of it to me is that the "...front-to-back position of each finger affects timbre." I wonder if that's just CC data or what.. if you could assign that control, just imagine the possibilities.
Too bad there's no aftertouch though :)

I think it's a bit expensive:
Hi!
Thank you for your interest in the Continuum Fingerboard!
The Full Size is US$5290 on a US bank account. (The half size
is US$3390.)
That includes both the traditional MIDI as well as 1394 FireWire interfaces.
The shipping crates cost an additional $275 for the half-size, and $375 for
the full-size. They are of very good quality, and I think they are well
worth the extra cost.
I have both sizes ready to ship. I will be happy to pay for the shipping.
In the unlikely event that you can travel to central Illinois, please come by
and visit. Please bring MIDI synths or other equipment you might want to
try with the Continuum Fingerboard. Even if the Continuum Fingerboard is
outside of your price range, please consider visiting and playing.
I will also be going to the NAMM show in January; if you will be there,
please come visit our booth #1000!
Thanks!

THAT is what we call an "obscenely republican" amount.
Sheesh. $5,200. I could buy a Triton Studio and a Motif ES8 for that, and as cool as this controller is, it can't possibly do more than a Triton Studio and a Motif ES8 combined can do.
