I've ordered one in the end of November and it still hasn't arrived
I'm anxious to have it so that I can start recording songs again. Does anyone else have one of these? And if so, what are your opinions about it?

I don't have that particular card, although I looked at it. I went for the Delta 1010LT instead cos I wanted the multiple IO's...
Certainly, if you're used to SoundBlaster quality or worse, the M-Audio cards are a revolution... there's a clarity of sound there that is just transcendent (OK, slight PR speak there ;-)). I've recently started working in 24 bit 88.2kHz (I master to CD, so don't see much point using 96kHz) and the extra headroom and clarity is just superb :)
I'm sure you'll love the Audiophile... they're great cards.

That's good to hear! :) Actually i'm used to C-Media Crappy-onboard quality so this will be quite a big and pleasing step for me. But I'm starting to feel that my package was lost in the process...

My brother has an Audiophile and they are quality. I have the M-Audio Duo which is also very cool and the sound quality is superb.
Saying that, I have just built myself a custom PC which has a C-Media Audio97 built in sound card which is 24bit/96khz and has 5.1 surround, and the sound quality is better and the latency is way better than my DUO which uses ASIO, My C-Media card is using direct X drivers and I must say I'm really pleased with it, I'm using soft synths with 24bit 48Khz quality and 5ms Latency all with a built in audio controller.

M-Audio makes great stuff at very reasonable prices.
What are you guys using to monitor.
Have you checked out M-Audio's line of studio monitors.
They sound really good. Comes in 5' and 8'

I use a Midiman Audiophile 24/96 on my GigaRig and it's always been a flawless worker.
I bought a pair of BX5 monitors from M-Audio here in LA and after a short test I sold my M1 Active monitors in Florence because I liked these ones much more.
Let it be said I'm not running a production studio here, but they're far better than a lot of fireworkishy products on the scene which always made a poor figure to my ears.
