well what are in detail waterfall keys in what way are they different to non weighted keys?? are they similar to semi weighted keys?? english is not my mother tongue so I can't understand why are they called waterfall? NEED EXPLAINATION!!!!! :shock: THANKS SAM

It's kind of hard to explain but I'll give it a try :)
First of all it has nothing to do with weighting. It's mainly in the way the keys are shaped. Most synth keys are shaped like this if you look at them from the side:

Whereas waterfall keys have practically no "lip" at the front of the keys:

This is the style of keys on Hammond organs. The lack of the lip makes it easier to do palm smears. Also most of the time waterfall keys on synths are a yellow-ish ivory color, as opposed to the normal white.

Waterfall keys have rounded ends vs the little hang over part on piano and synth style keys.
Roland releases their boards with the yellowish keys to give them an aged appearance, like owning an old Hammond Organ.
