Hi!

So I had just noticed that DT are playing in my country (Slovenia) after 5 long years! I'm very excited and I am sure I'll go and check them out. The thing is, that it is my greatest desire to shake hands with Mr. Rudess since he is the reason why I started to envolve myself into DT's music and even more...Into the world of keyboards...Can someone help me make this dreams come true?

Thanks,
Jure

Everyone has their dreams.... I would like that DT come to Argentina... I posted it allover the forum.... but I don think that my dream come ever true... the only thing that I can do is download the concerts and.... thats it! I don't think that they care about the little group of fans... here in south america. The only thing they have done here in argentina its the Portnoy clinic in "La Plata" tu me its to far... I dont understand why they dont go to the capital.

Keep dreaming.... Keep waiting....

Martin

I hear you mate - although I have to say the chances of any DT member even setting foot in New Zealand are about a zillion times less than Argentina ;)

I don't think it is because they don't care, DT show time and time again that they look after their fans - it is just that promoters want big names that are sure things. No matter how good DT are, they aren't chart toppers and therefore aren't guaranteed income. I honestly don't know how well they would do in NZ to be honest - Satch came here earlier this year and it wasn't even sold out. Sucks to be a small non-europe/america/Japan country lol.

Still I WILL make it to a European concert one day, maybe for the next album, so might see some of you guys there :)

Maybe.... Maybe... I just "sit" and wait... but not hoping they'll come... just, waiting thats it.

If in Argentina and New Zealand its impossible, I think that in Dominican Republic is even more impossible, someone told me that JR came here long time ago by now, but I think its not true. Do somebody can confirm if thats true? JR came to the Dominican Republic before he was a DT member? Please confirm this somebody...

mmm.. i know that they went to Argentina on the Octavarium Tour. They made 2 concerts, i envyed the Fans from Argentina so much when i read the news! jaja
Because, they made 2 concert, The 1st one : the standard Octavarium concert. [Without songs from the scenes from a memory] Guess why? on the 2nd concert they played THE WHOLE scenes from a memory + others from previous albums

I almost cried =(

Its not all that difficult to meet members from dream theater if you go to the show. At least in cleveland oh, the venue they played at made it possible. Afer the show you just have to wait out back for a couple hours and eventually they will come out to go to their buss. There was a fence between us but it the guys all came out and talked to fans and singed autographs. It was very cool. Well except myung of course went straight to the bus. Anyway i got to meet jordan and that was definatly very cool for me. It just took a little bit of waiting in wonderful febuary cleveland weather.

Jordan, as I say to you at the shows (the guy with the big number 12 t-shirt), you're the one!!!!!!
