Hang on just a moment... Why exactly was Rosie banned? I saw that post in the Gear Talk section... man, that was just a joke! Sif I haven't made stupid posts like that before, lol, we're all friends in this community so why can't we loosen up a little bit? Also, I think an indefinite ban is a little harsh... So someone... please explain to me why it happened??? Have I missed something while away on my little sojourn?

And if I get banned for asking why Rosie was banned, I'm gonna be soooo pooped I'm gonna sit RIGHT HERE in this little corner and CRY until Jeroen and Patrick come and cheer me up!!!! So you better be NICE!!! ...please...???

I was wondering why the hell we hadn't seen any posts of her lately. Has she really been banned? The whole "I'm so tired of it..." thread did get a bit out of hand, but that got closed and no harm was really done, was there? Is there something I'm missing here?

Edit: I just read the "just won a triton extreme" thread. That WAS a tad out of place, I must say... LOL what a backfire!

I think that the "Your penis must be pretty high right now" comment wasn't out of line, but her second comment was a major double-yoo-tee-eff. Completely useless and out of left field, and technically it *did* break the rules. With any other member they probably would have gotten a little warning, but considering Rosie's past on this board, it's not surprising that the ban happened. She's been banned for getting way out of line once before, and even went so far as to insult Enigma outside of the board...some of it even including sexual comments about me and him, since I was the one she was getting pissed at when the first ban took place, and apparently that means that me and Dave are sexual partners because he locked that thread and banned her.

Well since it was originally my Triton thread that she made her remark on, I thought I'd better chip in here...

Rosie actually added me to her MSN Messenger list t'other night, so not realising it was her (despite the "Shattered Rose" handle clue...) I messaged her to see who it was, and got into a little conversation, which basically fizzled out as (s)he got into a loop about how down (s)he was feeling, no-one wanted to talk to her...

...I did my best to console and advise, but gave up in the end...

She did kinda apologise to me though, if it's any use ?

Having said that, I personally come here for at least some kinda music-based chat, with the occasional OT post welcome, but I found not only her remarks in the middle of my own thread unwelcome, but also the "I'm so tired of it..." thread a tad out of place...

Personally I don't mind Rosie not being around anymore. I think she posted a lot of crap, useless and boring. Some posts were interesting, but they are overshadowed by the rest. It's sad but its like that. People remember better what was wrong than what was right.

I am sure sensible to the situation she mentioned in her "I'm so..." thread and I don't mean I want her out of the planet, but I have no problem understand why theres no people sticking around.

She's complaining about everything when it happens to her but when she does exactky what she doesn't like to others, it's ok for her. I just remember her complaining about people posting stuff in HER thread that doesn't completely fits the topic, and then she just crap other's people posts, as she did with one of MY thread :) . How do you want to make friends like that? even the people not directly concerned about it just get pissed of by her attitude.

yeah, as Nismael i dont care about not having Rosie in the forum anymore, she posted a lot of junk, sometimes behaving totally regardless of others users. Not to mention her useless battles against people wich had ONLY differents point of view than her, and i'm not speaking about her problems...i'm speaking about the "playback devices" "real musician", "religions" etc etc discussions that always finished with flames, "lockin'" and the first "ban". Sad to arrive at this point... oO'

Rosie was banned because she broke the rules, and the mods/admins discussed the issue to agree on that decision. So far, we haven't had enough bannings to necessitate a printed rule about these types of threads, but as it goes on most forums, thread about banned user = lock, so please consider that in the future.
