Hey guys,I just signed up and just wanted to say hi. I'm 17 years, live in Germany and play the piano since ten years. I'm a major DT fan though I never really though of keyboarding till about half a year ago. Now I'm a total fan and want to dive more into the keyboard world (athough I only have a crapy mdi casio keyboard).
Anyways, that was it!
bye!!!

I wouldn't have opened this thread if I hadn't seen your nickname. :)
Welcome to the forum!
Where do you live exactly? I'm from Offenbach, near Frankfurt a.M.
Have fun learning to play keyboards. If you have ANY questions, we have the answer. :)

Hey! I live in Cologne. We got a huge musicstore here with loads of keyboards, synths etc. and I saw a picture of Jordan trying the Korg Triton extreme in the Musicstore catalogue so I was like wow, why dont you try playing keyboard and so I started going to musicstore everyday trying different keyboards. Thats how I basically got started. I dont know anything about keyboards or synths though and I was browsing the forums for a while but couldn't find like a tutorial for a complete newguy. I mean should I buy a midi keyboard and use my computer or something like the kurweil pc1x. I't be great if you could give me a little info on that.
Thanks for the reply!

Hi,
Welcome and nice to see more German people here!
I live in Wuppertal which is not far away from Cologne, so if you like, I can show you some synth stuff and also help you purchasing someting. By the way, the PC1x is a great board :)
Have fun here in the forum!

Greetings from Canada.
EDIT: typo (I write three words and make a mistake..)
I wouldn't have opened this thread if I hadn't seen your nickname. :)
lol, same here - and since the majority of people answering is german I bet it's the same with them.
I'm from Koblenz and I'm studying in Aachen, Cologne lies kind of in between. I love Music Store... AFTER the works were done, while they were still changing everything you had to visit about 5 different parts of the building to get one part :-)
Have fun & welcome to the family!

Never been in Cologne so far. - That's because I know that the DT shows there have never been that good. ;)
However, the music store where I get my gear is called Musik Schmidt and not small either:

Hey guys thanks a lot for the replies. Sorry it took so long to write back. I thought my thread was deleted and it took me a while to find out that it was placed into the General Chat forum. It's great to see so many German people here. Anyways, thanks for the warm welcome.
