Jordan's TKW received an excellent review in this month's Keyboard Magazine; here's an excerpt.

"... Jordan stresses musicality and improvisation at all times; he doesn't want you to sound like he does, but he wants to give you every chance of being able to play everything you can imagine in your mind's ear. Now one of my personal top three how-to-play resources of all time, this book is a must-have."

Ernie Rideout, Keyboard Magazine, June 2005.

What about a special handsigned version of Keyboard Wizadry only for long-time-forum-members? Only if you want one and for normals costs, of course, but signed... pleeeease ;-)

Yes, only for members who signed up in 2004 or earlier. :D

To avoid thousands of people only registering to get the book, you know?

Hey I looked at all my music shops the other day and none of them had ever heard of total keboard wizardry. Do I have to get it off the internet or can shops order a copy for me (yeah I don't do internet shopping)?

I already have it, but I wouldn't mind getting an autographed version...
Well, I'll take it to the next DT show :D

However, I wouldn't say that people who have been here for a long time may get an autographed version, but what about the fan club members? :P

What a great idea! I might just get my hands on the book on time and take it to the DT's show here in Finland in september! :D

Getting his autograph would be incredible! :o

I am probably as blind as a bat, but can someone tell me where this review can be found? We're talking about the june 2005 issue of Keyboard here aren't we? The one that headlines Michel Camilo amongst others? I have TKW and I think it's definitely awesome value. I'd love to read the review :>) Thanks

It's in the July issue that just came out, with Tori Amos on the cover.

Here's the (very) short version you can find on the net, among a lot of other books and videos described:

"Keyboard Wizardry, by Jordan Rudess (video, $30, Medius Vision Network, www.mediusvision.com). Sit down with Jordan in his studio, and he’ll show you a whole bunch of stuff he knows. Soloing with the blues scale, using pitchbend, ripping synth leads, harmony for songwriting — a cornucopia of tidbits for synth lovers from a synth maniac. BEG-INT."

Doesn't "BEG-INT" mean beginner-intermediate? I thought that the content was more intermediate-advanced?

This is about the video Keyboard Wizardry, not to be confused with the book Total Keyboard Wizardry, that is meant in this thread. There are excercises for beginner, intermediate and advanced. It's not so much about theory as it's a practical workbook with many many excercises for all your 10 fingers ;>)
