I know Jordan uses a pedal to advance sounds when he plays live... I was wondering if anyone could tell me how it's done. I have a K2500, and I was wondering if it was possible. Thanks.

Things like Filter Cutoff or Effect level can be controlled via an expression Pedal. No idea where to setup this in the Kurzweil i don't have one :(
Basically for K2500:
You connect the pedal (you mean a pedal, not a switch...) to one of the CC pedal - connections of the kurz. In program mode the function of the pedal is set in your control setup, in setup-mode you can assign it's function for each setup.
That's just the basics, the rest depends on what you want to do with it (crossfade between sounds, modulating filter, volume...)

i think you mean with a foot switch, well the first switch input is set default for sustain, the nex three jacks are ususally where you would plug your switch. I think (i havent done this) that you must edit the control setup and set the second foot sitch foor a Data Increment thing...i gotta check that tho, so this post was probably pretty pointless...

On the pedals page, assign the appropriate pedal input *I use 4* as a switch, not toggle and have it set as DataInc+
This is the same as pressing the plus button on the top of keyboard that this will do what you're wanting to do.
Check out the site in my Signature for tonnes of kurzweil/JR based sounds and also request some as well there!
I'm the head Kurzweil programmer there and I can hook you up with stuff from DT if you need ;)

Thanks for the info guys! I really appreciate it!
Theres one thing to mention if you want to use DataInc and DataDec in setup-mode (that's what you'd usually do live when controlling a MIDI-setup):
you can assign footswitches and pedals for EVERY layer, if you want different things to happen to the layers. If you want to change setups by footswitch just assign it on ONE layer!
I used to assign it on every layer, so if you have a setup using 4 layers and press the DataInc footswitch it will go up 4 numbers, not only 1...
