I'd love to hear some of you guys trade solos with Dani Vargas from Chile. Here is Steven Robinson's version of The Way of the Jam with Dani:
www.jamlab.dns2go.com/downloads/mp3/DSK09_The_Way_Of_The_Jam_SR.mp3 10Mg
Steven is from NY. Steven (2nd guitar) and Dani (1st guitar) both are doing some serious shreading. Dani represented Texas 2 years running in the Guitar Center Guitarmegeddon Nationals. He reminds me of Al DiMeola. Steven has a few more cyber jams with us posted. I've got a CDs worth of tracks with Dani posted.
the trio version for you to record with Dani

I've got tons of tracks for you folks to work with. Almost every style is available. If you are on dial up, we can send the tracks via mail.

I'd like some feedback please. This will let others know what level of play we are enjoying here.
Thanks,
Kurt

I tried to get some stuff going with you last time you made a thread here, but I was having some trouble finding stuff on the website to record along with.
Is that second file you posted the same as the first, just with open spots for solos? The file is pretty huge, so I haven't downloaded to check it out, but I did listen to the first one, and that was kinda cool. A little repetetive with the backing track, but good solos over the top.
Let me know about that second file. If that's what it is, then I'll download it and record along with it. Also, if you've got any fusion and/or metal stuff that needs some keyboard work, I'll lay down some tracks. Just post links to the stuff here, and I'll play along. :)

Wow. Cool. Cheers for the track. This is just the sort of thing i want to do. Thanks so much.
I'll get to work recording a keyboard solo track right away.

Thanks for all those files! I'll check them out!
...
I did a synth part for Way of the Jam. Not anywhere near as good as that sick guitar part from Steve, but i had a go!
Here it is...
http://rapidshare.de/files/2322747/WayofJam.mp3.html
(just scroll right down to the bottom and click free, then wait about 60 seconds. this host is a pain in the ass, but it hosts it forever, so others can view it without it expiring)
PS: I recorded this before i heard the first track with Steve, so as not to be influenced by (or copy) his solos. But i didn't add as much to the track as he did, so Dani does sound a bit more exposed, lol.
Hope you enjoy.

LDGuy, you captured the true spirit of that jam... you've got some serious speed happening. Here is a no wait link to your version:
www.jamlab.dns2go.com/downloads/vtracks/DSK09_The_Way_Of_The_Jam_LDGuy.mp3
Here is Axe2Grind's version from a while back:
www.jamlab.dns2go.com/downloads/vtracks/DSK09_The_Way_Of_The_Jam_A2G.mp3
I hope more of you show us some of your ideas on the many hours of tracks I have ready for virtual jams. I have several different trios each with different players recorded live to pick from. They are all improvised.
I can take the guitar out on most of these tracks upon request. No rules here just music.
Here is one of my favorites from this board with Ron vanDeurzen:

Hey Kurt,
I quite liked this one :
A rock fusion with Dani on guitar
http://www.jamlab.dns2go.com/downlo...ut_of_Chaos.mp3 8.5 MG
Have you got just the backing of this tune on MP3 ? I'd quite like to have a go at this one...
Thanks,
Justin (Axe2Grind)....

Check out what AlienSporeBomb did with some of these duos. It has a Brand X feel to it.

Anyone had a chance to record over the requested duo version?
I'd love to work on some of your pieces. Our summer schedules has not allowed for many recent jams and I like to keep those muscles exercised. I'm looking a the new version of Battery to get some new sounds. I'm concerned about it because Battery 1 has never quite worked in Cubase SX.
I'm a Trent Reznor fan and would really like to work on something along those lines. Who's got tracks to work on....
Peace,
Kurt
