If you just need a module, the Roalnd VK8m is killer! Very good sounds!

What do you think of the Korg CX-3? I'd like to get it!

If you don't care about drawbars, sonically the E-MU B-3 is a great module. If you want drawbars then either the Roland VK8 or the Korg CX-3 are great, and have many fans. Both have their pros and cons, the CX3 lacks waterfall keys but has 2 sets of drawbars, the Roland only has one set, but has waterfall keys.
I have the B-3 personally (well, the ROM in a E-MU Vintage Keys). The choice is yours! :)

Hi!
The new CX-3 also has Waterfall Keys!
Can you control the drawbars on the EMU?

The keys on the CX-3 are not true waterfall keys. They have a slight lip at the front, more like a synth keyboard. A true waterfall keyboard is a completely squared off front. That said, the CX-3 still has a very nice keyboard, great feel!
The B-3 does not have drawbars or drawbar control, it has 370 or something samples of the organ with different drawbar settings, and sounds very sweet. It is possible to program patches to crossfade between drawbar settings using the controller knobs on the front of the module, and the mod and pitch wheels, to create a similar effect to drawbars, but it's a complicated process. I'm not a hammond player, I've never had the need to move drawbars while I play, I can cope with switching patches to change drawbar settings... but some people would probably find this inconvenient... you pays yer money, you takes yer choices. :)

The differences between the Korg and Roland are rather small. Either one will give you a great organ to add to your music. I'm giving serious thought to the roland VK-8m myself!

Drawbars are little rods that slide in and out to control the volume of the individual tones on an organ, like sliders. On a Hammond simulator like the Korg CX-3 and Roland VK8, there are 9 drawbars.
