i have a Roland RD 700. does anyone know how i can switch setups or patches/sounds by using my pedal? what settings do i need to change to do that?
by the way: does anyone know where i can compare the features of my keyboard to that of the Kurz Jordan uses. or where i can find the capabilities of the Kurzweil (besides their website)?

The MIDI spec calls for CC98 (Midi controller 98) to be "program up" and MIDI CC99 to be "program down".
If you set the RD (I assume it is completely MIDI CC compliant like the other Rolands) to listen to CC98 for one of the pedal inputs, then every time you stomp on the pedal, the patch # will increase. After that it's just a question of arranging your patches in performance order. If you have two pedal inputs to spare, you could conceivably use one for program down.

thanks for the help, but on my keyboard, CC98 and CC99 are programed as 'octave up' and 'octave down'. is there something else i need to do that i can change it so its 'program' and not 'octave'? this is what i do, i go into a setup, then go to edit mode, then 'CONTROL/EQ' then for FC1 i scrolled to 98 & 99, i went through all of the presets for pedal functions, and i dont see program up or down. ahhhhhhhhh what do i do???????
