Distant Dream - A New Beginning

Greetings!

wanted to introduce myself and our band to all the members of this forum - we're a band from Ann Arbor, MI - and we are die hard fans of Dream Theater! We've been working on an album influenced by DT for the past 2 years and it is now finally complete! It's titled “A New Beginning”

The genre of music is mainly progressive rock but with influences from blues/jazz and metal. It is a concept album accompanied by a complete story and a lot of artwork.

Over 20+ musicians, artists and authors from various countries contributed towards bringing this project together.

The CD itself was produced and manufactured here in the US through Discmakers (it's shrink-wrapped and all!) and we priced the CD at just $5 so that we can reach atleast a few folks with our blend of music and still hopefully recover some of our production costs.

It would be great if we could get you to take a look at the site and give us some feedback. All the songs (complete versions) are online along with the entire story and the graphics.

It all worked for me. The only thing that annoys me is that you have to click on each song seperatelly and that they keep looping once you press play.

We're planning to add internation shipping option to the shopping cart option but for now you could email me through www.distantdream.com/contact and I can send you a paypal request for the international shipping option which is currently around $5 for shipping & handling + insurance costs. We're selling the CDs for just $5 so we try to keep costs down for those who like our music :-)

The CD however was professionally manufactured through one of the leading CD manufacturing companies in the US, so you can be assured that we'll be sending you a good product.

Thanks also for the feedback on the website - we initially had planned to have a pop-up window which had the audio player which played all the songs, but then that way, no one has the incentive to buy our CDs!!! Well, but since we've got a lot of complaints about this - we will probably put up an audio player out there soon.

I will disable the "repeat" button so that they won't continue playing over and over again.
