Yep, I just got this baby today.
Since I have the day off tomorrow, I'm gonna spend
some time using this in recording keys.
I'll keep you guys posted.

Well, you were supposed to keep us posted...
Btw, I've got a somewhat similar Focusrite Voicemaster Pro...

How do you like your Voicemaster?
I have not used my Twin Trak for vocals yet but
I gotta tell you that it does wonders for ALL my
keyboards...more presence with the AIR function.
I have a GT66 tube mic and will try it out sometime
this weekend with the Focusrite.

I just got myself a tfpro p3 Pro Channel (http://www.tfpro.com/products/info/1.php) which I guess is similar although itīs a single channel strip. It did great things for my keys as well! It has a great optical compressor and a phase active equalizer that is really good. My main problem was that the outputs of some of my boards, like the QS8, werenīt quite hot enough. Now I can get them up to 0dB, which I didnīt seem to able to do earlier when I recorded directly into the sound card. I havenīt done much vocal work with it yet, but Iīm getting there...
I might trade it in for a tfpro twin channel later... Two channels are better than one!
Btw Frank, do you record your keys in stereo, using both channels, or do you mainly use one at a time?

Ok! I have usually done all my pads/backgrounds in stereo and the rest in mono... Perhaps I should do it all in stereo from now on!
