I have just bought myself a PC2X for use in the UK. Does anyone know the power output (wattage) of this unit so I know what voltage converter to get - I can't seem to get an answer out of anyone about this!

Technically the only difference should be a transformer / sheilding and the power board. All the electronics operate at standard voltages. You might be able to purchase an entire new power board for your synth for your region and get it up and running. There are enough people here with that board that you might be able to get someone to shoot you some pics of the insides of the unit so you can compare the differences.
There were companies that were doing this with Roland products and they were not endorsed by Roland. This is considered grey market goods.

depends where you bought it. but whatever you do don't plug it in without knowing! but yeah it says on the power adaptor you got with it what the outputs and inputs should be. Then just buy a converter that matchs 120v uk to whatever yours is. have fun! its a good purchase in my opinion....
