I agree Tony Banks is a tremendous keyboadist.

I've always liked him. Especially his older stuff with Genesis like on Foxtrot and Nursery Crime.

Definitely. He's a great player, always seems to have the right chords immediately to hand. As Tony goes, so goes Genesis. :)

Yesss... he's great with synths!!! I love his sounds, especially the pads... and if i'm not mistaken he's a loyal Korg user :)

/me playing Genesis '92 Knebworth gig...

He used a Korg M1 and Wavestation quite a bit in the 80's and 90's. But over the years he also used RMI (Electrapiano) Roland (VP330 vocoder, JD800), Moog (Polymoog), Arp (Prosoloist, Quadra and 2600), Sequential Circuits (Prophet 5, Prophet 10, etc.), Yamaha (CP80), Hammond, Emu (E4) etc.

Not a single company loyalist by any means. I agree he is awesome. Especially as a writer.

He also used the New England Digital 'Synclavier' a real monstersynth.
