Im not sure if it's possible to change program with the pedal, I cant find the option anyway. I found however effects, volume and so on under PARAM, but maybe that not avaible on the RS-5 since you cant find it.

I've got an RS-5 too. The machine is okay and it's easily portable 'cause of it's weight.

Haven't got too much into it, but I don't think there is an option that allows you to change patches with your pedal. I think that the guys back at Roland replaced the option with the "Favorite Perform Banks" I know that it's deffinately not the same thing but it works too.

As I said, I don't know this thing so well yet so there might be a possible feature for using a pedal to change the performances/patches/tones etc.!

Hope you'll figure something out! ;)

Well I have a Juno D and its not possible to change sounds with a control pedal. You can change sounds with a MIDI foot controller. I have the Control Pedal assigned for MFX PARAM1.
