Hey guys,

We are looking for a graphic-oriented individual to create a template
design for Jordan's newsletter. Basically, a design, without content,
or if you'd like to try sample content, PM me and I'll send you a copy
of the last mailing we sent out.

JR will check out everyone's work, and the one we feel is most fitting
with the look we're going for will be used in every mailing (the creator
will be credited on the bottom of each mailing). Feel free to use pictures
of Jordan in the design.

LET THE GAMES BEGIN. Any questions, PM me and I'll be more than happy
to answer them.

Dani

Will there be a deadline for that? Not that I'll be too late. ;)

However, just want to let you know that I'll start to create something now.

Good question. I'd say we'll most likely take this thread down in about a month or so.

Sweet!! I'm a professional graphic designer by day.... bedroom musician at night :) I just finished an A5 magazine for Voices UK (UK DT fan club) first issue..(the magazine are planned to replace TOD) i think newsletter template wouldn't be that hard to knock off.

I'm interested to participate, however we would need a proper brief from you Dani, in order to design something that's not too far away from what you guys wanted. It's much more easier than an 'open' brief where you can basically do whatever you want.

What's the method of delivery? Email or Print?

It'll be great if you can supply us hi-res images of Jordan to be included inside...

To be honest, Newsletter format is pretty much depending on how much do you have your content. If the content fluctuates, then the design would have to change. Even with constant amount of content, we're still gonna have to fit the design to the content, i.e: baseline, grids, layout. But if you're still insisting on a template, then it's up to you...

One more thing to add: I would really emphasizing on making the proper brief for us to do.. A good design always comes out from a good brief, because at the moment, sounds like you don't know what you want.
