Hi,
Ive been talking with a few mates lately about my cd collections and what it is lacking (which is mainly older stuff....eg pink floyd, beatles etc)

So i thought id put the question forward, what 5cds are a must for any respectable cd collection? And im not just talking about prog, rock and metal or keyboardists..... im talkin EVERYTHING!!!!

I think the following 5 are essential to a CD collection:

Genesis-The lamb lies down on Broadway
Arthur Rubinstein plays Chopin Ballads and Scherzos
Billy Cobham-Spectrum
Led Zeppelin 4
Kevin Gilbert- Thud

But thatīs today....I might change my mind...

OK...personal classic favorites would have to be...
Rush - Moving Pictures
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
Led Zeppelin - II
Yes - Close to the Edge
Dream Theater - Images and Words

note: I&W may not be technically a classic but I consider it to be one of the greatest Rock recordings of all time !
