I was watching a video of the performance of Scenes from a Memory and JR was playing a keyboard that allowed him to do some serious pitch bends by sweeping is thumb over a sensor on the top of the keyboard. Does anyone know what keyboard this is and where you can get one.
thanks

This topic was already picked up some days ago I think - It's a Kurzweil K-2600: http://www.kurzweilmusicsystems.com/html/k2600.html

It has a large ribbon controller above the keys, which you can for exampe assign to pitch bend like JR did.

There are two keyboards having this controller, the K-2600 and the K-2500, each available with 76 or 88 keys (http://www.kurzweilmusicsystems.com/html/k2500.html).

You can use this ribbon controller with every MIDI synth. This fine little machine is called Kurzweil "Expression Mate".
You can check it out on www.kurzweilmusicsystems.com as well :)

Too bad that the Expression Mate is no longer produced...
