Does anyone use this peice of equipment? I personally love it. I just completed a new song, "Sekiria", on it; it's a techno-grunge sorta thing. The main highlights of the track (in its demo form right now) are the dueling solos and the fact that I got to try out my monster lead patch on it! It's officially the first song with the KARMA on it.

Has anyone made an organ patch with the Hi-gain wah effect yet? I know I'm probably light years behind, but I thought I'd ask.

I've heard good things about this unit but unfortunately I dont know much about it.

I assume it has some good effects on it.

Does it also have tone generation?

Most of the effects are guitar-, bass-, and vocal-based. But it does have some cool insert and master effects. The Flanger is my favorite.

The Pandora is really cool, and it runs on AA batteries! woohoo!

oh, hehe, btw... that organ thing was about the KARMA  .

As for tone generation, I'm not exactly crystal on what you mean, but you CAN alter the effects and patches and stuff.

There's an organ preset on the Karma, 'Distortion Organ', that uses OD/Hi-Gain, which is pretty decent.

@ Scrap:

Er, I meant to say that I had made one with the wah insert effect, and was asking if anyone else had done that yet...

LOL I need to be a little more clear with my posts...

I've never heard of anyone using a wah on an organ before. It might yield some interesting harmonics. Then again, it might sound like shit-on-a-stick without the stick. I'll try it later tonight. :)

A tip: I used an organ patch on OSC1 and a saw on OSC2. I put the insert effect on OD/HiGain Wah and then have been tinkering with it since... I dunno how to make it any thicker, so if you could help me with that, that'd be awesome.

Try using one of the EQ IFX as well as dulling the frequency of the organ oscillator in the filter section. Also detune both oscillators from each other just slightly. The 'Ensemble' IFX may also help with thickening up.

Good for practice, but not for live and recording.
A noisy unit.

@ Scrap: Thanks for the tip!!!

@ Angelic: It's not particularly noisy to me... how do you mean? My MP2's sound kick-ass when converted...

My friend has it, I tried it on guitar and it was quite noisy.

Try reducing the input trim, thus helping the built-in noise reduction do its job... it helps alot, trust me.

Yeah, thats why I don't recommend it for live and recording.
