I thought it was time to start posting some clips in the show off section and here are the first two. These are Jazz Standards I recorded on my upright piano.

The first one is "Maiden Voyage" by Herbie Hancock. I first recorded the Rhodes comping for the solo and then played the piano over that. The solo is improvised and first take.
After all I played the main Theme with a Moog patch I created on my Virus and added some "percussion" (just clappimg on my legs) ;-).

The Second is "Days Of Wine And Roses" Which I played over a Bass track by my piano teacher we recorded in one lesson. I just added some crappy finger snapping to create that Jazz cliche, you know!? ;-)

Really enjoyed those tracks. Some awesome improvisations on the jazz modes!

You should try and get some minimalist percussion in there, i.e. some ride cymbal.
