Does anyone know wich lead sound JR is using in Stream Of Consciousness, and how to get hold of it.

Yes, he is using the super secret saucy Korgweil MUTANT LEAD. There are two ways to get this:

1) Pay Jordan the amount of $15,000.00 US Dollars in single dollar bills. He will mail you precise instructions on how to create your lead, in 256-encrypted hebrew.

2). Sit in front of a pair of speakers for 40 hours to dissect which synthesizer the lead is originating from, pick out the waves used, the filter dynamics, and the effects chain, which may or may not include outboard studio gear used for post-processing, and then upload it for all the first-posters to download. No seriously, I think it's best to play around with what you have and come up with what sounds best for you. It's a bit bemusing, but isn't it better to have a slightly different version of something in the long run?

Though Jordan DOES often post leads, which is pretty cool, though I personally would mess with them as soon as I downloaded them if I had appropriate hardware.

Now, to actually address the poor chap's question. ;)

I think most beginners get into DT's music, think JR's playing and tone is cool, and assume that they just have to buy the board their hero is using and select the right preset, not all that far from the guitar hero syndrome. The answer is that Jordan programs his leads, and this requires a significant amount of knowledge of synthesis. I would suggest doing a search in these forums, as we've discussed how to create his lead sound several times before. There is even instruction from The Man himself in one thread.
