Problem with MIDI

Hi all,

I want to use my Yamaha PSR-640 together with the K2600XS connected via MIDI.

What I want to do is to use the PSR as a rythm generator so that it sends the rythm pattern via MIDI to my K2600XS.

I have updated my K2600XS with OS 4.0 so that it can work with General MIDI1.

The thing is that the PSR uses as Standard Drum Kit the 9th and the 10th MIDI channels but when I activate the K2600XS in General MIDI mode it only uses the 10th one and you can't choose the Drum Kit in the 9th MIDI channel either manually. :?

So the only solution I have reached is to select the pattern in the PSR when I am in GM mode so that it chooses the sounds correctly, then disable the GM mode and select the Standard Drum Kit in the 9th channel manually.

Any suggestion? :wink:
