I was playing around with a dist. hammond sound last night and got the urge to put together a funky little jam...made a backing track, recorded a solo, and voila! Enjoy:

Cool, I enjoyed the hammond patch.
And the slap from time to time gets the song really funk.
Nice!

Very Funk, that was cool. Like the lead tone you have and the whole tune had a great groove to it. You should expand upon this and make it into a full length tune....good stuff. :)

OH yeah that's funky baby! :)
But it sounded more like a distorted clav for me (the rhythm).. is it really hammond? maybe maybe really distorted ?
That's cool little bits...!

Yeah, it was a very distorted drawbar organ I made on my beloved Casio.
Justin, the first chord movement (2nd and 3rd measures) are actually part of a larger idea I have...they just happened to be in the same key and work well as an intro. The rest of the track doesn't really warrant much of a song IMO...just a cool thing to jam over, but probably not something I would include in a larger composition. Fun to jam over though.

Sick organ patch but even sicker lead! Did you overdub the harmony at the end?

Yes.
The message I have entered is too short. I must make it ten characters.
It is now over ten. :D
Nice playing! That's pretty good technique. When I hear the patch I don't hear a hammond organ, but it sounds nice.
