He might bring me a Yamaha EX5R... I´ve been interested in a breath controllable synth for quite a while and these are really good value nowadays... The EX5 features a lot of different modelling technologies and seems really useful. There are some "lack of DSP" issues with it that among other things brings down the polyphony a bit in AN mode, but I think I´d enjoy it a lot... We´ll see what happens. They usually sell for around $500 these days which isn´t too bad...

I got 3 new ROMs for my E-MU synths, the Ensoniq Project, World Expedition and Protozoa soundsets (one from my wife, one from my parents, and one from my in-laws :)). Doubt I'll be getting anything else gear-wise, although just bought myself a new power-amp, and might possibly get a little something exciting from my wife (I did ask for a decent sustain pedal), but I'll find out next week!

In addition to the Carvin (which has been delayed due to the company's overloaded build queues), I got a nice vinyl import of the 30th anniversary edition of Dark Side of The Moon, a limited edition laser-etched, colored High Hopes / Keep Talking vinyl single, also imported. They will be framed and placed in the home studio in a few weeks. :)

I'm also a proud owner of it! Great keyboard it has been for me!!! :D

and, btw, a little bit late on my gift, but it finally arrived, I got a hard case for my yamaha s03, and in january I'll got a 2 keyboards stand... well, let's see if next year I can fill this stand with another keyboard!! =]
