Hey. I overwaited replacing little battery in k2600 and a lot of patches went bye-bye. Can they be restored? By a mere mortal?

did you saved them before this disaster?

I did no saving before the battery died. I'm assuming the floppies Kurzweil supplied with the synth (if I can find them) have some reloadable information on them?
But here's another thing: I took the opportunity of having the keyboard belly-up to also finally install the daughter board, and orchestral and contemporary ROM Option Cards I've procrastinated installing. Also a Sample Ram thing that came with the keyboard. Then I turned the keyboard right-side-up and started loading the companion floppies (Factory Objects Disks and Accessory Disks). But after loading the Objects Disks, when I tried to load GM Compatibility Accessory Disk, I got an "Error! The ROM objects file is too big." message.
I stopped loading things and pressed RUN SYSTEM.
Now even more patches, like the 100s, have disappeared, and None of the patches produce any sound! Many of them say something like "No Object Found" where it tells you which objects go into making a given patch.
But even the ones that do have all the necessary objects listed for the sound ... don't work. I'm not getting any sound from any of them.
I know I've messed it up pretty good, but I'm assuming there must be a way to put Humpty Dumpty back together again.
Does anyone know the answer?

restart the synth and, when "Waking up scanner.." appears press Exit button. There are a menu with a lot of options. You need to reinstall rom objects. Pick up your Kurz diskset and do it :)
see ya
