We have several hours of live improvisations for you to download, record your new parts, and then post the new track. We have many styles from unplugged to rock fusion to choose from. Players from all over the world have contributed new tracks. Why don't you give it a try...
Most of the tracks are cut with guitar, bass, and drums or just bass and drums. I can remix many of the tracks to fit your requests.
You can also swap solos with some very hot guitarits. Show us what you got...
We can also play over your tracks. Bring em on...
Peace,
Kurt Angel

I'd be interested in contributing to this...any way that I can preview different material to see what I want to play on?

Liquid Shadow,
You can find almost all of our tracks by using the two browse download links on our site. I would start with the mp3 versions to pick what you like. Got a style in mind? I can suggest a few tracks.
The Virtual Jams link takes you to all the finished cyber jams.
To get the best sounding tracks download the wav versions not the mp3 versions. Most tracks are posted in both forms. I can post almost any file types by request.
These jams are all first takes with no dubs or fixes, excluding the finished jams. If you are on dial up, I am willing to mail CDs to you. Just ask...
If you live near Houston (Sugar Land), TX - let's do some live jams.
Peace,
Kurt Angel

No styles in mind...I like playing in quite a few, so long as I enjoy the music. ;) I'll check out some of that stuff and see if I'm up for any of it.
Edit: Actually...there are quite a few mp3's here...I don't think I have enough time to sit through downloading and listening to all of them. Could you list off some of the styles available, and then I can ask for a few examples from those that I'd be interested in playing on?

Go to the Sugar Land or player links to see each track description. Here are some general guidlines on Jam Lab player styles:
Sugar Land Link - shred and drop tuning oriented:
Vargas guitar shreds like Al Dimeola very clean picking
Nichols guitar classically trained heavy modern
Atwood guitar only 16 years old! heavy prog
Orlando players have own links - more variety, melodic, grooves, experimental, and unplugged:
Lauda guitar melodic and jazzy with some keyboards and guitar synth
Buick guitar melodic modern rock
Bass and Drum only tracks have their own directory. Go to browse wav files. All tracks can be found this way.
Or, just ask me for a style:
tempo
shred vs. melodic
shuffle, blues, odd time, groove, unplugged, experimental

I checked out the Sugar Land link...I liked quite a few of them, but it seems that they are all finished songs. What area of the site has stuff that still needs solo contributions?
BTW, if you guys ever need other keyboard stuff (just backing parts and such) to any of this, I'd be willing to do it.
