Hi all,

Has anybody tried this adaptador? How does it work when using two MIDI devices at the same time, I'm referring when using the Midisport 2x2.

I have also heard about this one: Edirol UM-2 but it isn't sold in Spain.

Thanks,

Arkaitz.

I've not tried the 2x2, but I have the Midisport 4x4 USB interface which I have my 2 synths connected into, and it's great! Using 2 MIDI devices at a time is no problem for it, and I'd imagine that the 2x2 is just as reliable.

I have a Midiman 8x8 and its works great when connected to multiple devices. Typically I'm only using it with 2 devices at a time, XV88 and Roland VS2480 HD recorder midi locked between the 2 devices and my PC

Since my PC died I've been working with a fast laptop provided by my work. I needed to update a couple firmware chips in the unit (because my was a very early revision) and its working great with a Tascam USB US122 going through a USB 2.0 Hub.

Thanks a lot!! :D

I have never heard about Edirol and they're promoting their FPT protocol. It has to do with midi paquets transmission eficiency.

Definitely I will buy Midisport 2x2!

Edirol is a Roland company. They've got some nice midi controllers, feature wise. They also make some AV hardware.

I think you'll be find with the MIDIMan hardware.
