hi, i have only just joined this really helpfull site and would like to just say that i am about to start playing the keyboard again after a long break whilst trying to master the art of the guitar, i think i should stick to what i am good at and stick to playing the keys. p.s i am about to purchase a synth, a korg ms2000b, i hope i am not being over confident as i found the microkorg a little difficult, what do you think should i go for something easier.
thanx phill (england).

Phil, I doubt you'll find anything simpler than the MS2000. If you're looking for a virtual analog synth, it sounds marvelous, and the programming panel puts the essential parameters right there where you can play with them. It only plays four notes so you can't make huge chords with it like you can with a Fantom or Triton, and it doesn't have any pianos or drumkits, but if you're looking for an analog style synth that doesn't cost a lot, it's either that or the Alesis Ion. I like the Ion a lot more, but then it costs a little more too.
