Well , just saw yesterday night in London, Porcupine Tree performing at the Astoria (where DT played in 2002 and made 2 shows).

At the beginning of the evening, Anathema was the warm-up band, they played 7 songs for approximately 35 minutes, they were nice but their new stuff isn't as good as the old one, the balance was terrible, we couldn't hear the singer, and the bass was too strong.

Anyway, in 7:45 the british band Porcupine Tree led by Steven Wilson got on the stage and gave us a show of 1 hour and 45 Minutes( well, there is Only one Dream Theater that can give us 3 hours ever night :) ).

They started with the first track of the new album Deadwing, Played the sound of Muazk (In Absentia) then played a couple of more songs from the new album ( i don't like the new album so much , except for 2 songs: Arriving Somewhere and Shallow). It seems that this album won't be as successfull as the 2 previous ones. However I enjoied in the show, especially from SHESMOVEDON, Blackest Eyes,Shallow, Arriving Somewhere and Trains which finished the show.

I must say that I really impressed by their drumer, Gavin, he is really great and definitely better than the previous drummer. Also John Wesley who plays guitar and Backing Vocals was great yesterday night.

Next Friday i'm going to see The Flower Kings in a special instrumental concert.

i wish so hard that all of this bands could visit south america man, no one does :(, well except for satch and vai, they could pass the voice on other bands to make them visit us, they just don't imagine how much audience they would get on their shows (specially dream theater, i know for sure that here in chile they would sell all of their tickets in an eyeblink)

I truly understand you. That's why I see all my favourite bands in Europe, because the chance they will come to Israel is really small.

If they won't come to Chile in the following tour, would you consider taking a flight to any of th US cities to see them live?

You'll definitely enjoy then, since they're doing every night most of the new album. I also agree that Gavin (the drummer) is great, and also John Wesley (Guitars and Backing Vocals).
