There were two people missing tonight...

Keys76

Guys where the f%^&$k were you....
Sitting on the couch with a bag of potato chips and a bottle of coke???

You really have missed something at "De Bosuil" in Weert...

Five amazing musicians, playing like they were doing a Stadium tour....

They played every "highlight" from the last 10 years...
Only pity was...

There were less then hundred people watching them...

How is this possible???

1) A great band
2) A great venue
3) Amazing music

It is only March and I can tell you one thing...

This is/was/going to be one of the best shows of 2005...

A pity you guys missed them.......

Stainlessly,

One of the lucky ones...

Dude, that sucks to have such a small crowd, must have been heartbreaking for them. I still remember playing an 800 seater venue with my old band and having more roadies than audience (despite us cramming them in at smaller venues and advertising in the national press!).

I've only heard one song by Enchant (Sinking Sand) but I really like that one. Is that typical of their style? Cos if so I might want to hear more :)

I saw Enchant LIVE in 2003 when they were opening for Spock's Beard and I didn't like them. I found that their music was just boring.
They play near my home the day after tomorrow and I am definately not going to be there.

Then you should have joined the Forum a few years earlier....
Their guitarist has posted here once, when they were looking for another keyboardist..... ;)

About the audience....
I spoke to their singer, Ted Leonard, afterwards and he said, if there are 10 people or 10000, they always want to make sure, that the audience has had a great evening...

And yesterday, they succeeded... :)

Patrick - I'm jealous....I'm a huge Enchant fan and I really wish they would do some live shows int he NYC area! I recently picked up their DVD and have been watching it non-stop. Great players and excellent song writing.

Was Enchant the headliner for the show or were they opening for someone else?

Your experience reminds me of a Dream Theater concert I went to last summer. They opened for Yes and I was fortunate to have a seat in the 4th row. When they started playing, the venue was less than half full. It almost felt like a Spinal Tap spoof! When James LaBrie walked out on stage he looked at the empty crowd in disbelief. They played their asses off regardless and gave us a terrific show - they are real pros!

By the time Yes came on, the house was nearly full. However, Yes was ragged and their age was unfortunately showing....Steve Howe could barely keep up with his own parts. As a longtime fan of their music, it was pretty sad to watch.

Too bad the full crowd didn't get to witness Dream Theater's show.

Too bad to hear that..

In Istanbul they played to about 50 people.. It was one of the best shows I've seen eventhough I didn't know their music at all..

The guys are really wonderful and friendly..

I highly recommend their performance if you have chance to see them..
