MOTIF patch help.....I need a good Lead Sound.....

Hi guys.....

I've just bought a MOTIF ES 8 (what an amazing gear !!!!!!)

I'm newbie with Yamaha synths.......

I'm looking for a good LEAD SOUND......

For example : Monster Lead or Jens Johansson Lead.....

Someone can help me ?????

Have you got a patch for this ????

I got Motif Rack and I agree it's fantastic

I want that nasty dirty COOL lead sound that Sherinian and Rudess are using when solosing with WAH and filter control

Hey JackJens, I own a Motif8, no ES on it. I know that S90 and Motif classic series share the same engine, but, can you use .w2v extention files in your ES?? have you ever tried to load a motif classic sound?? Maybe you just need to chante some parameters in the file.

I downloaded a Rudess Tone sound, don't remember exactly where from. I also downloaded a zip of leads, some are very nice. I uploaded them to my bulk files web page:

Maybe you or someone else can improve some of the sounds and republish them here.

My excuses in advance for such a nasty advertising here: the newly reborned Hydra of ProgSounds hosts a Yamaha-dedicated section for custom patches but - as far as I remember - no Yamaha users were posting (weird..considering how many Motif users there are out there). If you want to oWn the section and start posting your patches and contributions there you are more than welcome (considering that ProgSouds focuses especially on patches from Prog music players like Sherinian, Rudess, Johansson etc.)
