These things look quite interesting, so far I've been pleased with my Behringer MX1064A mixer. These could be the ideal budget amps, they look like the Roland KC style amps but added some more options to them.
7 band eq
100 effects
4 inputs (stereo) with effect sends
Mic input
300w / 180w / 90w 3ch / 45w 3ch
They're also insanely cheap the 180 watt unit was something like $240.

Yeah those actually look pretty darn good, much better than the previous keyboard amp they put out (KX1200?) I like that you can put your synths in in stereo, and have a stereo DI out to the house PA, makes an easy way run stereo at gigs.
Can't see me using the effects that much, unless there's a really good Leslie emulation (doubt it's better than the Fantom's), but that could free up one MFX block!
Not quite enough to make me rethink my Carvin decision but very nice nonetheless!

Yeah, I see myself getting one at some point... for the price difference don't see too much point going for the 180 over the 300 though, personally. I've got tons of Behringer gear, regard it very highly... I'm considering a couple of their bass cabs at the moment too. The 2x10 and maybe the 1x15. Look like the old Peavey cabs did that I used to run (albeit I ran a 1x15 Black Widow and a 4x10 as *part* of my rather huge bass rig which also included a Marshall stack for distortion... don't ask ;)) but at a much cheaper price...

Hi, thanks for the news, I would like to know if 300watt is enough for small gigs?

I'm already thinking of using the effects for tones that I can map out of line 3 on my XV88 output, that way I dont have to use up the 1 MFX for a layer or zone split.
I wish they had a better view of the back of the cabinet, I want to see if there is a way to link them together. It would be nice to run 2 of the 180w for each side of the stage in stereo.
The ability of running a mic into these things is key because if you dont have a PA at your rehearsal spot a 300w might be enough for small rehearsal rooms. That and you have the effects to add on to the vocals.
