Well, you can download MIDI files with the notation on www.mysongbook.com, but you need Guitar Pro, (it's better to get the newest version of Guitar Pro, which would be 4, I think) as for reading the notation, you need training in order to understand theory, but you probably already know that. Any other questions go ahead and ask or PM me. Good luck man! :D

yes , guitar pro is the best way to go, I think, it's great that it helps with a lot of instruments

Sure i think using midi in any notation s/ware would be the best option for you
but if you are planning to get serious in pianos or keyboards
i would suggest learning to read music
trust me it's not that difficult
i've put up some lessons on reading music in my website http://www.Emusicman.Tk lessons section
most of the lessons have been prepared by a music professor from pittsburg university
i personally refer to his lessons every now and then
cuz it's very simple and easy to understand
Hope this helps

I was reffering to that, cuz guitar pro has musical notation [partitures] too, it's really useful, I have a friend who play skeyboard and uses it, works fine [for him]... and it's easy to find, like any other tab, finding partitures can be harder than get a gp4 file

The best way to get sheet music for pianos and such is just to do a web search for MIDI files, then use a program such as MidiNotate to transcribe it.
In terms of learning to read music, there are also several sites you could try - Jordan Rudess' Online Conservatory is always a good place, or Music Theory.net (http://www.musictheory.net) - teaches you the basics, but nothing about technique.

yeah it's funny man. I figured if your gona play piano you have to start with some classical, bethoven, bach, mozart. So i go to the GP and startlooking them up. it's all writen for guitar, i found a couple only for piano. but from what igot, like 5 songs, i think it will take me years tolearn so i am not complaining.

you don't need to start with classical at all, but if that's your desicion.. good luck then
PS: in gutiar pro you can import MIDI files too =P
