Just out of curiousity, what MIDI programs do you use when learning songs from MIDI files? I've used a program called Anvil Studio before, which isn't bad, but I seriously doubt it's the cutting edge of MIDI programs.

I've loaded MIDI files into Reason and Cubase before, but I'm looking for something with more of a notation and keyboard layout, because I'm really trying to dedicate some time to actually furthering my keyboarding skills this winter, as I've got nothing but free time ahead of me.

I don't know if Sibelius supports the MIDI format, but if so, I think you'd get best results with that.

Sibelius does support midi. I use it and it does a great job of displaying even the most complex Jordan lines in Mr. Baker's midis. :)

It's expensive but it will work.
