Hi all, progressive friends!
I'm a Triton Le 76 user and I'm totally in love with the Triton Engine (I've been through some other brands but Korg totally fulfills my wishes)...now, if anyone has interesting PCGs (especially for songs by Our Majesty Jordan :D), it'd be interesting to share them with other triton users!
Looking forward for answers!

Triton classic etc... pcg's are fully compatible with LE? Not so long ago I dowloaded a couple of files from LE and tried to install them in my Classic but they did't open, it said something that it couldn't read the format. Maybe it didn't worked for another reason, I really don't know.

The format's the same, .pcg. You should be able to do it. The only matter is that from classic to Le you lose some IFX in the ways explained in Le Manual.
However, if you need help contact me with PM.

Hi friends, i'm the owner of a Triton Classic, and I had the same problem some month ago. Maybe you should download the last version of your operating system from korg.com. I did it and now I have no more problem. I hope it will work. Bye.

Maybe you probably know this already, but feel free to use ProgSounds (http://www.albertorizzoschettino.com/~progsounds/board/) for your needs in case you like it.

Yeah, I'm already a great fan! The Prog #1 Pack is wonderful, and finally I'm able to have some lead that sounds like Jordan's one. In the past days I had time to build a combi, "Learning to Lead", which is a lead that sounds like Kevin's on that song. By the way, I feel something annoying in many leads. When I play hand over hand passages (I mean, I'm not JR so I play the solo passages like three octave long with with two hands) the second hand playing, no matter if I press hard, sound like they have decreased frequency.
Also, if I play a shortened last note with the first hand then do the passage with the second hand, it's in the expected frequency. Maybe I should turn the mono legato in mono without legato? I'll try :).

yes, I think what you are referring to is an effect of the legato function. Kurzweil synthesizers have a parameter that allows you to avoid that sort of "decay" affecting the whole phrase. I don't know how it is on Korg synths (and I'm sorry about that) but at least I think you found the reason why it happens.

Don't hesitate to post anything you want to share on ProgSounds, admins and moderators are not the only one who are allowed to create sounds, everyone can. You don't even need a space to host the file because, thanks to Axiom who installed such a plugin, you can directly upload stuff in the forum using the attachment form when you create a topic or reply to another one.

Best luck with the tweaking,
Alberto
