He did a concert here in Perth just a few months ago... didn't get to see him but from what I saw on TV he is frikin amazing.

I love his playing. In fact, when I went to the website late last night/ early this morning, I plugged my headphone into the laptop and his mellow music soothed my mind as I slept. I felt so relaxed when I got up ths morning.

I'm NOT a fan of Lang Lang. I think he lacks emotion in his playing and also maturity. IMO he is a joke of a classicalpianist.

Agree in everything you said there. I have a DVD of him playing a recital in the Carnegie Hall, and he is pretty much emotionless...

That's what I wanted to say in my post but was afraid offending people...he has amazing technique...but his emotion is about as deep as a sheet of paper.
