Does anyone of you use a Breath Controller? I have one since 2 days and I love it, it can make evil things. But I have to learn how hard to breath when i want a certain manipulation, I think that will not be so easy.
You have to edit patches to repond to breath control.
Too bad there isn't a simpler way for auditioning different sounds/ programs.
It's expressive but I found myself getting winded when I use it for any length of time and while I'm editting a particular program.

Hi Alberto!
A great info page, I like the sound clips very much!
I got Yamahas first breath controller BC1 which looks a bit strange and has no headset. Yesterday I used it to controll my monophonic analog synth and the results were really cool!

Thank you Kirbi for such a nice comment on my music and pages, using breath to control sounds is a great way to put your body more into the inspiration and vibe that float all around it; I believe it's a very nice tool.
I've heard that the BC1 left some friends of mine literarily breathless eheh and that some control improvements have been made with latest model as my BC3. Is it true?
Keep up breathing music and thanks again for your nice words,
Alberto

Hi Alberto!
I think one big improvement on the BC3 is it got a headset, because the BC1 has none and you will need one hand to hold it (OK for mono patches). Maybe they also changed the sensivity. On the BC1 you have to breathe hard to get a hearable result. But if you practice a lot you can control it better :). When did you buy the BC3? Which of your devices has breath input?
Best regards, Janosch/Kirby

Kirby,
the BC3 has both a curve envelope controller and a offset wheel so it's pretty easy to adapt it to your personal way of breathing. I bought it in December 02 if I'm not going wrong and I use it connected to my K2500x (actually my k2600xs here has breath input as well of course, but I left the controller in Italy).
