Hey there.
I thought about buying a new soundcard that will work better with my Fantom and give me more possibilities.
I think I saw somewhere guys talking about a soundcard with a MIDI input or something.

So, do you know/own soundcards that have functions especialy for synths, or functions that work well with synth that can't be found on regular soundcards?

I have Creative SB LIVE.
Any feedbacks about this card and what things you think will be helpful in a card (also answers for my first questions) will be greatly appreciated, thx!

Note that the fact the I use Fantom does not change my question:)
It could've had K2600 or anything else...

hey man. i'm getting a new sound card soon and i'm pretty sure it's gonna be this one: maudio192 (http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/Audiophile192-main.html)

it has MIDI and 1/4" audio inputs/outputs. i currently have "creative" SB live as well, and cant wait to get the new one because SB really blows :P

i think there are some other threads in here about soundcards, and also the maudio souncards that are probably more informative than my post, but that's the link and it has a deal of info there. good luck.
