Hi guys, it's been sometime I don't post a new topic here...

My post is pretty straightforward. I'd like to know which of you got or is planning to get a G5 or if you think it's just not worth the money...

I think I'm pretty much commited to my PC
at least for the next several years as I've invested
so much into it and getting my Nuendo on the
PC platform.

I would love to have a G5. It is after all the fastest
personal computer on the planet.

The amount of tracks and plug-ins you can get out
of Logic in a bench test was simply stunning.
I can only imagine how easily it would handle power hogs
like soft synths.

Maybe one day I'll get one. Not anytime soon though.

There are reports that the new panther os could damage an external Hard drive. I belive it is not quite stable yet.

that was fixed a few days ago, and it was just panther and some firewire drivers
