and a crappy Petrucci Impression to boot! :P
ok, so I finally programmed a lead sound on my Motif that I'm relatively happy with. It's real nasty one. Real picky like petrucci's lead sound, lots of feedback, distortion, overdrive, flange and all that fun stuff. It's 4 waveforms, a Saw, Distorted Guitar, a pad called "darklight," and a triangle for the feedback (set to only output a C3 note).
Don't mind the pads backing it up. I improved this whole thing (as if you couldn't tell) and it was a bitch to change some of those chords while I was playing. It was a stock Combi on my N5 called "Pollenesk."
I'm looking for input on how the actual lead sounds, not on the (lack of) technical ability of my playing. I thought I was able to do a fairly good job of faking artificial harmonics, and altering the overall timbre of the sound by adjusting my sliders.
