HeyAlucard, it's ok, don't worry!!! I will never prevent anyone from doing anything! Yeah, for me that was swearing, but the most important thing is that we didn't get angry.

Yeah! Here in Italy not only have we got the worst kind of music advertisement and production, we also got many terrible people, always thinking they're musical geniuses while in truth they DEFINETLY AREN'T!

To think that 80% of our teenagers are fond either of pop music or rap. And nothing else...

Plus, considering our "export", I've been in France during the 2001 Summer (well...to be sincere I ALWAYS go to France...every single summer...) and some girls told me they liked soooo much "Fuoco nel Fuoco" by Eros Ramazzotti and they asked me to TRANSLATE it from italian!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(for everyone to remember: the lyrics of this song are pretty "hot", with full of references to sexual meanings...)
When they read the translation I made they firstly asked me whether I was mocking them or not. As they discovered these DO were the real lyrics they immediately stopped to get Ramazzotti's CDs!!!!! Mwahahahahahah!!!!!! Ti sta bene, maiale!!

Then, let me leave you with a nice, 100% REAL story about me.

Six years ago one of my classmates decided to start learning how to play guitar.
First of all let me tell you that he really HATES Dream Theater and he's fond just of Clash (and nobody else)!
He chose a teacher who really HATED Dream Theater and was a TOTAL fan of Frank Zappa (and nobody else).
Then, one day he asked me to play "Knockin' on heaven's Door" together...it was SCARY!!!!!!!!!!! If in "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" you should play times like G-4taps D-4taps C/Am-8taps, he played something like G-3taps D-3taps and a half C/am-9taps and three quarters...°°
Something so odd that even Portnoy would have bad times with!
He had NO talent at all with music! And no musical ear neither! But, of course, I couldn't tell him so directly...the worst thing is that he thought of himself as a good player while no one around him had the courage to tell him the truth...

But the funniest part of my story still has to come!

After one month I receive a phone call from him: he's desperate since he can't write down Slash's solo in "Knockin'...", so he asks me TO FIND THE NOTES THROUGH THE PHONE AND CONVERT THEM INTO A GUITAR TABLATURE!!!!! (always from the phone, naturally)
It took me one hour but I did it! And HE was happy.

Now, every time he asks me to play with him or whatever else I gotta invent a good way to justify a sort of "temporary unavailable state"...:D

Btw you are right when you said that 80% of teenagers here in italy listen to pop and rap...

Take my city as an example...we are about 25000 citizens and only me and 5 or 6 guys(and we arent teenagers) listen to prog or metal... I remember some years ago we were 15 metal heads and 7-8 punks... now, someone betrayed and go to disco and listen techno, dance and rap...somebody moved to new-horizons, i saw occasionally some kids with an Iron Maiden t-shirt but thats all... to finish we are a fucking minority!

However, next time I'll follow the suggestion of another friend of mine: as that self-proclaimed genius calls me again asking me to play with him I'll ask him:"E' la marmotta che confeziona la cioccolata?"
