The result has been distorted so the filo-russian candidate has won. A lot of people are protesting on the streets. I wish them a lot of luck! Vladimir Putin's policy is a danger for young eastern European democracies!

I wish them luck too especially because Poland had similar political situation 15 years ago.
It's horrible, but in Ucraina goverment can do with man everything and nobody cares when you just dissapear - even press is terrified. I've heard in today news that there are 250 000 people striking at the moment, and even a lot of policemen refused to use violance against people and joined to them. Our president Kwasniewski went to mediate between opposition and Kuczma (actual president of Ucraina) but I don't trust him too much. He tries to keep balance between sathisfying public opinion and keeping good look in Putin's eyes. Also today Janukowycz (pro rus) accused Juszczenko (pro EU) for making revolution against legal goverment of Ucraina. There could be even killed and wounded during manidestations soon (in 80' military police even used tanks to "calm down" manifestations in Poland). I just hope that world community would not accept results of election in Ucraina.
