As far as his rock solo albums go, I like feeding the wheel the best

Well, you can safely get all his CDīs without making a mistake, thatīs for sure!
I agree that Feeding the Wheel is his best rock album, though with all the guest musicians itīs not that "solo"
Jordanīs got quite a few improvised Cdīs, I really like Secret of the Muse, it has so much intimacy. But no rock here. Same is true for Resonance and 4NYC, just beautiful, mostly improvised, flowing music!
And of course, as Santaīs coming to town soon, you might also try Christmas Sky
Hope that helps!
all of them  8)

Get Rhythm of Time, just my opinion. The other stuff is all great but I haven't listened to an album as much as RoT in a long time.

Rhythm of Time, Feeding the Wheel, or ANY other of his CDs, just like the others said. No matter what you buy, it's all great!

i agree with bakerman and vinod. Rhythm of Time is a great album and would still be in my cd player if i hadnt let my friend borrow it to let him in on it. Feeding the Wheel is one of my favorites too, and the Rudess/Morgensten project is always a good one too. that album always amazes me to think that it was just him and rod, and it's fun to wonder how in the world they can play that live together! some crazy stuff man. yet again, i'm sure any album of his you settle on, you will enjoy and wont regret getting it. if you want something nice and relaxing, check out 4NYC.
