I apologize if I already asked this question--I use the forum at work and somtimes get distracted. I was jsut wondering if anybody had a way to rip the Jordan versions of the two tracks from Rhythm of Time out of the flash feature? I wanted to add those into my rotation. (I've had 'Listen' for so many years, that I'm used to his voice at this point  )

I've heard that it's on the limited edition of Rhythm of Time, although I never found it anywhere.

There's a limited edition? Rats! I would have gotten it had I known of its existence. I'd love to do away with that flash feature. I can barely hear Jordan's voice in it anyway because the background music is too loud--and that automatic popup aspect is ultra-annoying ;-)

Well, I'm sorry that I can't remember where I heard that. Maybe salty can say more about that. What about Jeroen and Nolan, do you know that? :)

I have it...

Itīs abit annoying that the flash thingy occupies all the screen and that you have to load the flash in order to hear the tracks.

I donīt know if this has been mentioned before... but the interview that comes in the flash... man the music is WAY too loud.. sometines is hard to hear what Jordan is saying... you have to read his lips.

That interview was ill produced. I appoligise in advance if Jordan himself produced and recorded that interview. Sorry man... but hell... If you asked me to produce that interview I would have made a better "product".

I agree totally. I think likely Jordan didn't have anything to do with the actual production of the video--he's too busy  But yeah, the bkgd music is way too loud! :( I also thought that the TRAIN of THOUGHT feature was annoying. A better way would have been to have the file in a separate session on the CD so that users could launch it when they CHOOSE to.

Any word on extracting the sings? Maybe if we were to open up the feature file(s) in macromedia flash.shockwave/director...?

I don't believe there's a limited edition.

Opening the cd in your computer will give you acces to some extras.
Everyone can do that.

Hello,

Jordan asked me to pop on and answer these questions as best I could.

>>Is anybody have lyrics of beyond tomorrow and tear before the rain?

These are printed in the CD booklet.

>>I don't believe there's a limited edition.

The first pressing of the US edition includes the computer extras; the interview and the MP3 tracks with Jordan's vocals.
The European and Japanese version don't include the MP3 tracks.

Jordan, and his good friend, Ned Barber, put together the video portion for us as a little behind the scenes peek at Jordan's recording process. It was a brand new area for all of us to enter into, but we thought it would be fun to give the fans something extra. The reason we chose Flash is that it seemed to be the most common way the computer extras were format, and seemed like the one most people would be able to play.
You can hit the pause button to stop the video from playing, and also start and stop the audio by clicking on the buttons for each song. The Window fills the whole screen to give it a nice presentation (figured that if people were watching the interview, they probably wouldn't want a view of their desktop icons).

Not that I know of, but we may be able to do something with these in the future to make them more easily accessible. There are some other goodies which may make it onto a Jordan Rudess compilation this coming Summer, including some stuff from the Liquid Tension Experiment (if we can get the lawyers to let us release them).
